The best of contemporary European glass engraving
23 top artists in a unique online selling exhibition
Europe’s leading contemporary glass engravers have come together for a unique
online exhibition – galerieGRAVUR, available 24/7 at www.galeriegravur.com.
The exhibition opens on 1 July and runs to 30 October.
Travel restrictions have postponed Glass Engraving Network’s plans for a Europe-wide
touring exhibition this year. So instead, the Network has come up with a Covid-compliant
alternative – an online selling exhibition featuring a carefully curated selection of 58 highly
collectable pieces at prices ranging from below €150 to over €9,000.
Between them the 23 artists participating in galerieGRAVUR represent some of the most
interesting and the most technically proficient glass engraving that is currently available.
The galerieGRAVUR exhibition pages provide high-resolution imagery and the ability to
zoom in on particular works to study fine detail. All artists are contactable through the
website for queries or comments.
All work is for sale, with buyers dealing directly with the artist: galerieGRAVUR is a
showcase for their work. galerieGRAVUR is simply their showcase.
About the Glass Engraving Network:
galerieGRAVUR is the online exhibition of the Glass Engraving Network, an artist-led group dedicated to this
eloquent, magical and inspiring art form. Open to all who use engraving on glass in their practice, GEN now
has around 100 members – mostly but not exclusively in Europe, meeting via social networks and the GEN
website, and organising physical and now digital exhibitions for members.
