Glass in Society – Northbury Primary School, Barking
The Master kindly agreed to visit Northbury Primary School in Barking to present their cheque for a Glass in Society project. This funding will support the pupils to work scientifically and to encourage them to consider and question what they see. It is very much about speaking, observing and processing, by looking at themselves through different mirrors in a variety of settings – inside and outside the classroom. It will also help them become more aware of the area that they live in. The project will raise their curiosity level, where children want to ask, question and find out more themselves and then begin to link experiences with what they see.
The Trustees are most grateful to all those members who contribute to the Charity Fund as the work of the Glass in Society initiative continues to spread further across the UK.
