Sheriffs’ Horse Ride through the City of London in aid of the Sheriffs’ & Recorder’s Fund Please donate £10.00

On Wednesday 10″ July the Sheriff’s are taking to horseback to ride around the City of London, raising money for the Sheriffs’ & Recorder’s Fund. Established in 1808, the Fund helps ex-offenders, and families of those currently in prison.

E-Donate via  JustGiving –  please no more than £10. You can walk with us and help us collect money along the route.

The ride Is due to start in Guildhall Yard at 9.30am and end at 12.30pm at the Old Bailey.

Cart Marking – Wednesday 17th July 2019

Entrance is free. This is the second largest free event in the city of London after The Lord Mayor’s Show. You will see a selection of some of the most interesting and finest vehicles throughout the ages. The ceremony dates back over 500 years with vehicles ranging from handcarts, horse and carts, steam engines, steam powered vehicles, Military vehicles, multicycles, historic and vintage vehicles, specialist vehicles new and old, and even the latest electric and fusion powered vehicles.

City Beerfest 2019

Lest you hadn’t heard, this year’s City Beerfest, in aid of the Lord Mayor’s Appeal, is taking place in the Guildhall Yard on Thursday 18 July between 1230 and 2100.  Sixteen breweries will be there providing the finest beers for your enjoyment.
