MD Chris Blade says “we are thrilled that our crystal has once again been selected for inclusion in Downton Abbey and a a consequence our company is able to showcase our extraordinary talent & products worldwide. We are dedicated to retaining and developing Britain’s traditional glassmaking heritage. This is under threat as we are the last luxury crystal manufacturer in the UK and as such are passionate about retaining these exceptional and rare skills. As such we does not outsource, produce overseas or use automated production methods, preferring to specialise in traditional 2000 year old production techniques. Association with Downton Abbey helps us achieve this & support our young apprentices.”
