The Primary Science Teaching Trust, in partnership with the Worshipful Company of Glass Sellers of London, invites children from UK primary schools to submit entries for our design competition.
We would like primary school children to use their imaginations to design a beautiful object that could be made from glass, which they think would also be useful in a primary science classroom.

The year we open up fully after the pandemic, the United Nations ‘ International Year of Glass, a 100 years of Pyrex celebration at the National Glass Centre at Sunderland, the International Festival of Glass at Stourbridge. Most important of all – the Contemporary Glass Society’s celebration of 25 years of supporting studio glass makers!!!
To mark this, we are proposing a year- long series of events, often in collaboration with other national glass organisations and galleriesto celebrate and promote the strength and glory of the glass community within the United Kingdom.
